Hi! I'm Becky Brown, your Randolph County Treasurer, a position I have held since 1999. I grew up in the Moberly and Clark areas, the daughter of Simeon and Joyce Truesdell. I live in Moberly with my husband Jim, our daughter Sarah, and grandson, Austin.

I am a graduate of the Moberly High School and Moberly Area Junior College. I graduated from the University of Missouri with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I have taught or substituted in the Clark, Cairo and Moberly schools. I also taught at MACC and served as supervisor of the evening program.

I am an active member of the Clark Baptist Church. I taught Sunday School for a number of years and have been the church pianist for over thirty years. I have been active with the American Cancer Society Relay for Life steering committee and served as a Team Captain for the last three years. I am also a proud supporter of the 4-H program of Randolph County, having been a member myself (years ago).

I worked as a cashier and clerk for the family auction business, "Truesdell Auction Service" for many years, and through the auctions I met many wonderful people. I truly believe that this was when I developed a joy and satisfaction in working with and for the public.

In performing the daily duties of County Treasurer I have been able to draw on my experiences and skills learned as bookkeeper at Commerce Bank and as treasurer of the Clark Baptist Church. Having worked for Mark Price, Recorder of Deeds, and Norma Prange, Circuit Clerk, I brought to the office first-hand knowledge of county government.

I have continually looked for ways to improve the efficiency of the office. Each year since taking office I have attended 20 hours of training provided by the Missouri County Treasurer's Association and have a good relationship with other County Treasurers as well as our own Randolph COunty Elected Officials.

I really enjoy serving you as your County Treasurer. My family and I appreciate all your support. I will continue to use my experience, dedication and commitment as custodian of your county monies.
